The Fourth Player Challenge: Problem Solving and Jumping

In today’s post, I am building the 4th player challenge for my current game project.

Today’s Objective: Create a simple challenge where the player needs to figure out how to open a path, and navigate stacked hazards to escape.

Part 1:

For the first half of the floor, I’ve used ProBuilder to create a simple but good-looking set of stairs and beast cage holding some mutated dogs:

By interacting with a nearby console, players can make the cage descend, clearing the way for them to safely walk through.

Part 2:

The second half of this floor is a pretty simple climbing “challenge” (it’s quite easy). Players must jump and grab onto the cages, climbing up each until they can pass over and through them to the next elevator.

By utilising the player’s ability to grab onto certain ledges then climb up them, the player should be able to easily make it through this section.
